Barton's manufacturing techniques holds many unique processes such as the "Spectro" grey anodising applied to many products for a long-lasting and market leading finish. Products are manufactured using modern lightweight materials, moulded parts are made from high-grade plastics which deliver strong, light and impact-resistant products. The heart of Barton must be its unique designed plain and ball bearing blocks. Plain blocks are manufactured with a precision moulded Acetal sheave running on a large diameter brass bearing, ensuring free running under the highest loads. The Barton ball bearing block from series 0 to size 7, offers high performance with low friction due to its twin rows of Acetal balls running on a large diameter centre boss. This enables the load bearing surface to be maximised over the greatest number of bearings, giving higher performance in all directions. Barton's unique ball bearing range allows the upgrading of block systems at a realistic cost.
