Estelle Barré, French Wakeboarding Champion, Gets a Tow by Tour de France Team Dynamique Homkia

WOW! Estelle Barré, French Slalom Wakeboarding 2014 Champion, is towed behind Team Dynamique Homkia's Diam 24 trimaran in the Tour de France à Voile race.

Dynamique Homkia, H2eau Sports brand ambassadors for Adidas Sailing, Bloc Eyewear and Scanstrut said, "Estelle made it look so easy!...but it takes real skill to read and predict the track lines and balance of the Diam 24 at 30+ knots downwind".

Team Dynamique Homkia, based from Les Sables d'Olonne, signed to the H2eau Sports Marketing brand ambassador program in June and now represents several brands from the H2eau portfolio; Adidas, Bloc and Scanstrut.

The team is now equiped with the latest Exuskin neoprene top and Neohybrid pants, lightweight Climalite rashguards and the new Hiking 2 layer spraytops made using the Adidas Climaproof and Formotion technologies. Emeric Dary, Skipper of Team Dynamique said "We are very pleased to be partnering with H2eau Sports and with several of the brands it represents in the French market. We are also very happy to be able to continue with Adidas, whom has continued to support us as we grow and improve our game. It's of course a huge honour from the teams perspective to be supported by a globally leading sportswear brand. Through the mangement and the support of the H2eau Sports Marketing team we are now pleased to also be acting as Brand Ambassadors for Bloc Eyewear and Scanstrut. Innovative products which are new to the French sailing scene and gear that we will now thoroughly test to the limits in the Tour de France à la Voile!"

The team is currently testing out the new Scanstrut manufactured mount system, the ROKK Mini. Emeric Dary, skipper of Dynamique Voile/Homkia, said: “It’s a great addition to have the ROKK mount system on board. It means we can stream live footage while racing and capture the fast action. This kit is really cool and robust. You can feel the strength of its locking system when you adjust it and you know your electronics are mounted securely. Even in the hot ,salty and humid conditions, and with the vibration from hitting the waves, we don’t have to worry.”

The Tour de France à Voile tour continues eastwards along the Mediterranean coast and culminates in Nice on July the 31st.
